Meet Our Team
Holly Beck is a Doctor of Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine, birth doula, and an advanced yoga instructor with over twenty years of teaching and mentoring experience. Dr. Holly has a doctorate in Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine from Southern California University of Health Sciences with a specialization in healthy aging and women’s wellness. She holds an interdisciplinary degree with honors from the University of California, Berkeley in the Science of Health and Wellness where she interned at the Edible Schoolyard Project under Alice Waters through the Haas Business School. Dr. Holly also has an English degree with highest honors from Long Beach City College where she graduated as a President’s Honor Scholar.
Dr. Holly is an initiate of master teacher Sri Jnana Nanda Bharati of the Sri Vidya Parampara whose lineage has been unbroken for over 5000 years. She created the "Yoga of Birth," a comprehensive childbirth education program including birthing technique workshops for couples, prenatal yoga classes, and complete childbirth attendance. Her work has been published in the Journal of Complementary Therapies in Clinical Practice, and she has been recognized by the Doula Association of Southern California as a leading expert in the field of prenatal education.
